Led by Gregor Lo Presti, who has been teaching snowboarding for over 20 years, this international crew makes sure that you improve your skills and grow to love the sport like no other school in the area.
Top tip: Highly recommended if you´re travelling in a group of friends with different abilities or preferences. They cater for everyone from kids to off-piste riders and a tailored lesson with them is like a session with a good old friend.
2. Swiss Ski- and Snowboardschool Klosters (with air boarding!)
Next to private courses the Swiss Ski- and Snowboardschool Klosters offers a lot of group courses for skiing or snowboarding. Learn how to ski and snowboard on and off the official slopes. Experienced mountain guides show you the ultimate secret tips for Davos and also air boarding at the ski lift Heid is available. Children can ski at their own kids ski land!
Top tip: The ski school has its own private practice assets for learning far away from the busy slopes.
3. Schweizer Ski- und Snowboardschule Saas (top for experienced skiers)
The experienced teachers of the Schweizer Ski- und Snowboardschule Saas know everything about the ski area of Davos and experienced skiers can improve theirs skills off the slopes. Of course the school offers also courses for beginners and children.
Top tip: For teenager between 10 and 17 years the school offers a special Madrisa ski camp in which the younger ones learn how to freestyle, freeride or race.
4. Schweizer Schneesport Berufs- und Schulverband (flexible timing)
The Schweizer Schneesport Berufs- und Schulverband is very flexible when it comes to lessons timing. Let them know your wishes and they will try to meet them. The school offers private ski and snowboard courses and you will also be guided off the slopes.
Top tip: Make use of the video service – see right at the slopes what is not perfect and correct it at your next downhill.
5. Top Secret Snowsports (child’s paradise and adult courses)
The Top Secret Snowsportsschool welcomes all age groups and in small groups with as many as 8 persons you learn how to ski, snowboard or freeride. The friendly teachers for children put their focus on play, fun and safety.
Top tip: Make use also of the private teachers offer for your children – so they improve their skills even faster.
6. Tony Ski Davos (starting with the age of 2)
Tony and his qualified staff teach even your two year old children how to ski and be safe any time. The school offers also guided tours and powder snow runs for beginners and advanced.
Top tip: Tony’s international team talks to you in German, Spanish, English or Italian.
7. Absolute Powder (private teachers)
Even if you are an absolute beginner you will learn how to ski very quickly in this school. They also tell you the secrets of powder snow runs and if you like, your private teacher will also show you how to have a lot of fun at the snow parks.
Top tip: Tell the team your favourites and they will make up unique tours for you, including climb up, downhill and menu at an original Swiss chalet.
8. Altitude Davos Ski School (PRIVATE LESSONS IN ENGLISH)The English Speaking Ski School in Davos offers private lessons for all ages and levels of ability. The staff is highly qualified, experienced and fluent in English (majority native speakers) and lessons are available in English, German, Russian, Czech, French.
Top tip: Private lessons give you the individual attention you deserve and guaranteed improvements.
