Swiss Watch Tour invites you to discover the fascinating inner world of watch-making, with a private guided tour of the ateliers and manufactures of some of the world's most famous Swiss watch brands.
Situated in the middle of the Swiss watch making region in Neuchatel, Swiss Watch Tours can take you to some of the most fascinating factories or workshops (“ateliers”) here and in the Jura mountains.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
An explanation of the day at the outset and the route outlined on a topographical map.
Drive through the long tunnel to the Jura mountains
Visit to a watch maker looking at manufacturing, watch assembly, quality controls and stress testing

DAY TOUR
Your personal local guide will meet you at Neuchatel railway station ready to introduce you to the region and its watch making traditions.
You will be taken in a luxury, air conditioned 4 x 4 Sports utility vehicle (SUV) to see and experience actual watch making.
For many this is a new and fascinating experience and one which was not usually available to visitors.
AVAILABLITY
Usually all year except for three to four weeks in July and August when some factories are mandated to shut down. This can often be overcome using our local knowledge, although at least two days notice is required.
Visits are for two to four people and are conducted in English and French. German, Chinese etc can be provided at extra cost.
WHAT’S NICE TO KNOW
The City of La Chaux-de-Fonds is world famous for its watch making and the clock museum.
It’s also well known for the Swiss architect known as “Le Corbusier” who designed some unique buildings in the City.
TRANSPORT
The SUV car is a brand new Honda CR-V four wheel drive car, with leather upholstery, two sun roofs for maximum viewing of the famous names in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In Winter the vehicle has Winter tyres fitted for the snow.
