Operated by the desgn hotel, It was initially a traditional 1940's Valais house before Heinz Julen modernized and expanded it. Developed from local larch, the chalet has been modernized and has large areas of glass incorporated giving it the stunning 360- degree view of the tow and the Matterhorn. This 320 m² chalet can accommodate ten grown-ups and a kid in five double bedrooms, in addition, there's also a loft room.
The chalet boasts a blend of tradition and modern-day flair to create a cosy setting. The roof structure with its open pinnacles provides an open plan living, dining and kitchen space. This chalet is made whole with its fireplace and bespoke cowhide and leather lounge chairs.
Five twin fold bedrooms are divided between the second and third floor. One of the rooms has a loft mezzanine level with a single bed, ideal for kids. Every room has en-suite bathrooms, TVs, and balconies.
Wellness
The highlight is the stunning hot tub that can accommodate about 6 people, which drifts gently up a steel shaft from the lounge and through retractable glass sheets to the rooftop where there are stunning views to behold. Guests can relax and enjoy the sauna, or exercise at the gym. There’s a private home cinema for entertainment. Guests can start their day at the ski room where there are heated boot warmers.
