Location:
The Lodge occupies a sizable lot on a near-deserted street in Verbier. But that’s not to say the chalet is too far-flung, because you can reach the heart of the village in under five minutes on foot. The multi-pronged Verbier Télécabine gondola is only 250 metres away.
Arriving from Geneva Airport will take approximately two hours by road.
Property:
The enormous five-story chalet sleeps up to 24 guests in comfort and style, which makes it one of the largest standalone lodgings in the region. All nine ensuite bedrooms are on the upper floors and feature cutting edge contemporary design. The two beautiful master suites are exceptionally spacious and feature a beautiful living area and a private balcony.
You’ll likely prefer to mingle in the chic open-plan living and dining room, however, where a well-stocked bar may tempt you to indulge in a cheeky evening tipple or two. A polished timber coffee table, plush sofas, and stylish under lighting add a luxurious touch to the room. A fully-equipped kitchen is available for the self-caterer, while a secluded office is great for catching up on that mountain of emails.
Branson’s happy-go-lucky outlook on life shines through in his ‘party room,’ where games like ping pong and pool provide fun for the whole family. After dark, the adults might opt to drink cocktails and boogie the evening away beneath the laser-clad disco ball of this retro abode.
Spa & Wellness:
Branson spared no expense in designing his in-house spa, the highlight of which is an inviting nine-metre heated indoor pool. Soothing your aching muscles is all too easy at the massage room and indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi, while a well-stocked gym is on hand should you crave a workout.
