Montana-Zug was founded in 1926 by Dr. Max Husmann and remains wholly dedicated to its original principles of education:

At Montana boarding school, 170 students (≥ 10 years of age) live in one- or two-bed rooms. They also offer diverse activity programmes to complement the core academic curriculum.
